Adding Files from AnyCount |
If you need to count a large number of files, or if you need to count all files inside certain folders, the best practice is to add the files from within AnyCount.
1. Run AnyCount. If your AnyCount is already running, click the Files button to begin adding files. 2. Click the Add button in the AnyCount window. The Add Files window will be displayed. Click the Remove button, to remove the currently selected file (in case some files were added previously, and should not be included in the current count). Click the Clear All button to delete all previously selected files from the counting queue. Use this button to quickly clear long queues. 3. Select files or folders to be counted Note: To select multiple files, press and hold the Ctrl key on your keyboard, then click each of the files one by one, or hold Shift and click the first and last file or the range you want counted. 4. After all necessary files have been selected, click the Open button. AnyCount will add the files to the count queue. Once all the files are added, they are sorted by file type. Note: Adding a large number of files may take additional time.
