SST is the proprietary subtitling format of the Stream SubText subtitle editor. The final version of Stream SubText was released in 2002 for Windows XP Link: Stream SubText (download link)

Word, Character, Line Counts for SST files

Anycount will always count subtitle text in SST files. Optionally, you may also enable it to count the timecodes, formatting and descriptions found in the file.

When counting of .SST files is completed, you can:

view count results on the screen;
print count results;
export count results to .HTML, .DOCX, or .PDF formats.
