To work with SRT files in Anycount, let’s get to know a little more about this format.
SRT is one of the most widely supported subtitle formats. This is due to the fact the SubRip, one of the most popular Subtitle extraction programs, stores extracted subtitles in this format. SRT is a very simple, plaintext-based format. This makes it both human-readable and machine-readable, and contributes to its popularity.
Anycount will always count subtitle text in SRT files. Optionally, you may also enable it to count the timecodes, formatting and descriptions found in the file.
When counting of .SRT files is completed, you can:
view count results on the screen;
print count results;
export count results to .HTML, .DOCX, or .PDF formats.
