To work with OVR files in Anycount, let’s get to know a little more about this format.
The subtitle format “OVR Script” uses the extension OVR. Information about the original program that used this format is scarce. Currently, certain free and/or open-source subtitle editors, like Subtitle Workshop include support for OVR.

Word, Character, Line Counts for OVR files
Anycount will always count the subtitle text in OVR files. Optionally, you may also enable it to count the timecodes and descriptions found in the file. OVR files do not contain separate formatting information.
When counting of .OVR files is completed, you can:
view count results on the screen;
print count results;
export count results to .HTML, .DOCX, or .PDF formats.
