CAT Files

Computer Aided Translation (CAT) programs often store projects in special bilingual files that contain both the source and translations text.

AnyCount supports the following CAT formats, with the option of selecting whether to count the source or target text:

• TMX - Translation Memory eXchange

• TTX - Trados Tag Format

• XLF - XML Localization Interchange File Format

• SDLXLIFF - SDL Trados Studio files

• MQXLIFF - MemoQ files

• MXLIFF - Memsource files

• SLP - Sisulizer files (have special options unique to them).
